Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted on our own servers. When you visit the website, the server automatically records information in server log files. This includes browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, pages visited, time of the server request, IP address, and internet service provider. We do not draw any conclusions about individual persons from this data; it is needed to deliver the website correctly and keep our systems secure. The data is temporarily stored and automatically deleted after 14 days.

3

Cookies

This website uses a single, technically necessary cookie ("kfd_consent"). It only stores your decision about loading external content (see below) for 365 days, so you do not have to make this choice again on every visit. No tracking takes place and no user profiles are created. You can delete the cookie at any time via your browser settings.

Data Collection on This Website

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details (name, email address, subject, and message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The message is sent via our own mail server; no external form service is involved. We do not share this data without your consent.

External content loaded only after consent

The following external content is only loaded after you have expressly consented via our cookie notice or the respective load button ("external media"). Without your consent, no data is transmitted to these providers:

OpenStreetMap

A map from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, Cambridge, UK) is used to show our location. When the map is loaded, your IP address, date and time of access, and browser details may be transmitted to OpenStreetMap servers. Privacy Policy →

Google Fonts

Fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin, Ireland) are only loaded from Google servers after your consent; your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. Without consent, a standard system font is used. Privacy Policy →

YouTube and Spotify

YouTube

No videos are embedded on our sermons page — we only link out to our YouTube channel; you only leave our website once you click a link. However, to display the sermon overview, video thumbnails are loaded directly from the server i.ytimg.com of Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin, Ireland; your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. No further personal data is transferred. Privacy Policy →

Spotify (external links)

We do not embed a Spotify player — we only link to our podcast on Spotify. You only leave our website once you click a link. Once on Spotify, the privacy policy of Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden applies. Privacy Policy →

ChurchTools

We use the software "ChurchTools" (ChurchTools Innovations GmbH, Waldstraße 63, 76133 Karlsruhe, Germany) to manage address and contact data. ChurchTools is hosted exclusively in German data centers (Hetzner Online, ISO 27001 certified); no data is transferred to third countries. A data processing agreement pursuant to § 19 DSO-BUND is in place.

Content on this website (e.g. events, groups, and sermon data) is loaded from ChurchTools on the server side; no visitor data is transmitted to ChurchTools. On some pages (e.g. "About us"), images are loaded directly from our ChurchTools server in your browser; your IP address is transmitted to that server in the process.

Your Rights

Under the DSO-BUND you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. You may also withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection council (Datenschutzrat) of the BEFG.

To exercise these rights, please contact Alexander Rockstroh, email: info@christusforum.de, phone: +49 341 9 01 52 10.
